How the model works.

You own the truck
The electric truck is registered in your name. You hold the title from the first day and through the full lease term.

BharatDriEV manages it
Deployment, insurance, maintenance, telematics, drivers, and compliance run through our platform. You are never operating a truck.

An operator leases it
A vetted fleet operator puts the truck to work on contracted freight under a 5 year lease, and the lease income flows to you.
The economics.
We target a pre-tax IRR of 12 to 14 percent over the asset life, driven by lease income from contracted freight rather than by market speculation. The lease runs 5 years, and at the end of the term BharatDriEV buys the truck back at its written down value, so your exit is defined on the day you invest.
The tax treatment does real work.
Commercial electric vehicles qualify for accelerated depreciation of 40 percent under Section 32 of the Income Tax Act. For investors with business income this shelters a meaningful share of the asset cost in the early years and is the structural difference between this and most fixed income alternatives. Your tax advisor can confirm how it applies to your position.
Fully managed, end to end.
BharatDriEV handles freight placement, drivers, charging, insurance, maintenance, and compliance through the same platform that runs operator fleets. You receive reporting on your asset without running any part of the operation.
